Discover Roatan’s pristine coral reef! This is an opportunity of a lifetime to embark in a fun and educational adventure exploring a part of the second largest barrier reef in the world.

First, we pick you up at port exit gate. Meeting time is 1 hour after cruise docking time(If you booked a private excursion, you can disembark earlier or later. We are there as soon as you ship docks). You will head to the Exit Gate and look for the Roatan For A Reason sign.

Our first stop will be -The View- at Coxen Hole. Here you will have the chance to take photos with a magnificent panoramic view as your backdrop. You will also get some time to browse at the different local souvenir stands.

Our second stop is -Sloth and Monkey Park-. Here you will have the chance to hold a sloth, while monkeys play around you. Birds like macaws and parrots will fly to you to get pampered. Learn about the “island rabbit” or other Roatan endemic species.

Soon after, we take on the road to show you some of Roatan’s sites. Now get your bathing suits ready to soak up the sun on some of the Caribbean’s top beaches! Submerge yourself into the warm tropical waters and snorkel above the second largest barrier reef in the world just meters from the shore!

Our boat captain will be waiting for us to start what will be an experience of a lifetime.  You will be able to see a healthy and colorful coral reef, different species of fish, turtles, eels, etc. Visibility is normally 150 feet around you, so you won’t miss a thing.

After all the fun, we head back to the ship. We guarantee to have you there with at least 2 hours before ship departure. Roatan For A Reason staff’s main goal is to do their best to guarantee your satisfaction.
